La mostra si inserisce nel progetto portato avanti dall’associazione culturale Acta International allo scopo di offrire visibilità a giovani artisti emergenti. Il lavoro della giovane fotografa pugliese Nicoletta Tempesta nasce e si concretizza attraverso gli studi intrapresi in campo fotografico uniti alla sua forte passione per l’arte. Oltre agli scatti di carattere documentaristico, il visitatore sarà accompagnato in un percorso che indagherà la complessità delle emozioni nel rapporto tra il museo e i suoi riflessi, i riflessi di statue antiche che riempiono l’ambiente con fascino e mistero, con il quale l’artista crea un legame segreto.
‘‘Lei era lì, davanti a me, eppure il mio sguardo non era fisso su di lei, non era diretto, era filtrato, riflesso, deviato: sembrava la stessi spiando. La osservavo, timida, quasi nascondessi un segreto. Uno sguardo ci aveva unite, e l’intimità che si era creata la volli immortalare in uno scatto.‘’
Così la fotografa pugliese descrive il suo legame, immortalato dai suoi scatti, concentrandosi sul valore e lo spessore della relazione intima e segreta. È proprio questa relazione il cardine centrale della sua filosofia fotografica, dalla scelta del background ai vari soggetti, dai contrasti alle varie sfumature.
This exhibition is part of the project brought forward by the cultural association Acta International with the goal of offering visibility to emerging young artists. The work of the young Apulian photographer, Nicoletta Tempesta, began and has taken form through her studies in the photographic field, coupled with her strong passion for art. Beyond her documentary shots, the viewer will be accompanied on a journey that will investigate the emotionally complex relationship between the museum and its reflections—reflections of ancient statues that fill the environment with charm and mystery, with which the artist creates a secret bond.
”She was there, in front of me, and yet my gaze was not fixed on her, it was not direct, it was filtered, reflected, deviated: she seemed to be spying. I watched her, shy, almost hiding a secret. A look had united us, and I wanted to capture the intimacy that had been created in a shot.”
So, does the Apulian photographer describe her bond, immortalized by her shots, focusing on the value and depth of her intimate and secret relationship. This relationship is precisely the fulcrum of her photographic philosophy, from her choice of backgrounds to her various subjects, from contrasts to various nuances.
